Description
This image was captured on a day trip in the Northeast state of India, Meghalaya. This Khasis tribal boy was standing around, looking a little bored, like he was waiting for a playmate or avoiding his mothers chore list. We spent a lot of time in the car on this trip and I took to shooting candids with my camera held out of the window and without the benefit of the viewfinder. When I reviewed the days images, this serendipitous grab stood out as a winner. The luck of catching all the elements I wanted without a lot of extra and the unusual angle instantly made it a favorite.
This print is being offered for the first time in a limited edition of 20. It is printed on a heavy Hahnemuehle Photo Rag paper with UltraChrome PRO12 pigment for the highest quality color reproduction and archival standards. The 12 inch by 16 inch image has a one inch white border for increased flexibility of finishing options. Print and Certificate of Authenticity are both numbered and signed by the artist.
