This is part of the "Reflections of New Orleans" series. Abstracts from the city through the lens of water and glass.

Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop is a historic structure at the corner of Bourbon Street and St. Philip Street in the French Quarter of New Orleans, Louisiana. Most likely built as a house in the 1770s during the Spanish colonial period, it is one of the oldest surviving structures in New Orleans.

This image of the bar reflected in standing water on Bourbon St, immediately brings thoughts to locals of hurricanes and flooding. This illustrates the relationship between the city and it's the water that is constantly threatening it.
