High Rollway is a remote spot in the forest of the Northern Lower Peninsula of Michigan on the Manistee river. The spot got its name in the timber era when lumbermen spotted it as a perfect place to launch freshly cut logs into the river for transport. It's a peaceful spot even in the busy color tour season.
